About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Mortgage Loan Administration Specialist within Corporate and Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO). This role will support Commercial Mortgage Servicing (CMS) across the platform. The Specialist supports the middle office which functions between front and back office from product origination through the entire lending lifecycle. It is responsible for tasks related to risk management, compliance, and support to facilitate smooth loan transactions and regulatory requirements adherence
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the central coordination point for fulfillment, servicing, and operational inquiries
- Drive efficient workflow execution; Provides proactive problem-solving
- Ensure oversight and transparency for loan activities
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning for Transactions and Processing
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth valuation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Review, approve and issue quotes and applications on less complex loan requests
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, may lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of commercial loan administration experience
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Strategy Wholesale
- Aptitude for navigating mainframe applications like Full Circle (FileNet, CATS, Cash Workflow)
- Strong understanding and demonstrated knowledge of loan structures, servicing requirements and commercial banking regulatory requirements
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a high-performance team against aggressive deadlines
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide strong customer service and to develop customer relationships
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Experience navigating through ambiguity
- Risk management and mitigation experience
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and CoPilot experience
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work hybrid schedule of 3 days in office, 2 days remote
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
