About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant (Data Delivery & Governance) to join IDeAS (Information Delivery and Analytics Solutions). The Information Delivery and Analytics team designs and governs the One Risk Platform to deliver trusted, well controlled data for reporting, oversight, and data science in alignment with the enterprise-wide data management policy.
In this role, you will act as the business side data delivery and governance lead for a curated dataset layer in Dremio, ensuring that datasets are designed, documented, and maintained to be fit for purpose for approved use cases.
In this role, you will:
Partner with stakeholders, Data Source Owners, and Technology teams to ensure curated datasets meet defined quality, relevance, and performance expectations necessary to support business use cases, and ensure those expectations are explicitly reflected in design and delivery decisions
Guide the definition and application of dataset standards, taxonomy, transformation logic, and appropriate use of Dremio reflections to promote consistent reuse, reduce downstream logic, and support sustainable consumption
Act as the primary business counterpart to the Technology execution team, supporting delivery of curated datasets and data models
Produce and maintain clear, audit defensible governance and design artifacts required to support confirmation and ongoing use, including dataset specifications, source-to-target mappings, transformation and calculation logic, usage constraints, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and performance thresholds
Facilitate structured requirement and design sessions to clarify intended use, ownership, and controls
Ensure datasets are delivered in a manner that supports transparency, lineage, and accountable consumption
Support the alignment of dataset design and delivery with enterprise-wide data management policy and governance expectations
Enable Data Source Owners and Use Case Owners to confidently attest that data is fit for purpose for reporting, analytics, and risk decision making
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of Dremio, ANSI SQL, data architecture or controls
Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
Experience in collaborating with both technical and non-technical partners
Experience in Capital Markets and Risk Management
Experience in execution and support of large migrations
Familiarity with BI tools and related data needs
