About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead the strategic transformation of the Wells Fargo Branded Credit Card business. In this role, you will shape the evolution of product, credit, and marketing capabilities by defining and executing strategies that drive growth, simplify complexity, and enhance the customer experience. You will influence senior leadership, navigate regulatory requirements, and deliver solutions that strengthen competitive positioning and portfolio performance. This role offers the opportunity to lead high‑impact initiatives and play a critical role in shaping the future of the branded card platform.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support development of high-risk account management strategies responsive to macroeconomic conditions and portfolio dynamics

  • Drive strategic execution of credit line decrease and high-risk account management programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

  • Contribute to strategies that drive risk mitigation while balancing customer experience and profitability

  • Ensure compliance and regulatory standards are met across all initiatives

  • Define and lead strategic initiatives for the credit card portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and financial objectives controls through data quality checks and validation to ensure reliable reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of portfolio monitoring and line management in unsecured lending

  • Proven experience with a leading credit card issuer or in management consulting within financial services, with exposure to consumer lending products (e.g., credit cards, auto loans, personal loans)

  • Experience in credit risk management

  • Familiarity with credit policy, risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance considerations

  • Experience with competitive analysis, market research, and benchmarking to inform product strategy

  • Comfort with financial modeling and a strong understanding of P&L drivers, pricing, and profitability

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and tailor messaging for diverse audiences, including senior leadership

  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating effectively across multiple lines of business in complex, matrixed environments

  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in fast‑paced, dynamic settings

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with experience in data‑driven decision‑making and the ability to create clarity amid ambiguity

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous problems, deliver actionable recommendations, and make sound decisions grounded in market insights and business logic

  • Experience preparing polished, executive‑level presentations, metrics, and reports for leadership review

  • Results‑driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving objectives through cross‑functional teams
