Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Technology Business Services Consultant, Executive Director, to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives across software, infrastructure, cloud, and data platforms. In this role, you will drive execution of strategic technology programs that support modernization, technical transformation, resiliency, risk management, and operational excellence objectives. You will work across a highly matrixed environment to build alignment among business and technology leaders, influence decisions, and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that meet enterprise standards and customer needs. The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience leading technical transformation efforts that improve platform capabilities, simplify legacy environments, and enable sustainable business growth.

The Principal Technology Business Services Consultant, Executive Director will lead complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives across software, infrastructure, cloud, and data platforms in support of business strategy, operational excellence, and risk management objectives. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end execution across highly matrixed organizations, building strong partnerships with engineering, architecture, operations, control, and business teams, and delivering measurable outcomes in a large, regulated environment. The ideal candidate brings strong program leadership, sound risk and control discipline, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence across multiple lines of business while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic, cross-functional technology programs across infrastructure, cloud, platform, and data domains from planning through execution, implementation, and operational readiness.
  • Partner with senior leaders, product owners, architects, engineers, operations, and control partners to align program objectives with enterprise priorities and business outcomes.
  • Lead technical transformation initiatives involving infrastructure modernization, cloud enablement, software platform evolution, and data platform improvements to increase scalability, resiliency, security, and efficiency.
  • Drive transformation roadmaps that simplify legacy environments, improve platform capabilities, and support long-term technology strategy and business growth.
  • Support a strong risk and control environment by ensuring programs are executed in accordance with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor program health through metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators, and provide clear, concise updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate complex decision-making by assessing trade-offs, identifying impacts, and driving alignment across multiple business and technology teams.
  • Lead resource coordination, vendor engagement, and financial oversight to support timely, cost-effective program delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and simplification to enhance delivery effectiveness and operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, infrastructure delivery, cloud transformation, software platforms, data platforms, or enterprise technology leadership.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience leading large, complex technical transformation initiatives across matrixed organizations within a highly regulated environment.
  • 5+ years experience developing and executing transformation roadmaps, modernizing legacy environments, and driving organizational change across business and technology teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience delivering programs involving infrastructure automation, data platform transformation, and large-scale decommissioning efforts.
  • Background supporting cybersecurity remediation, resiliency improvements, or regulatory-driven technology initiatives.
  • Experience in global organizations with complex stakeholder environments and matrixed delivery teams.
  • Certification in Scrum, Agile, PMP, or related program management disciplines is a plus.

    Pay Range
     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

    $185,000.00 - $300,000.00
