About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Liquidity Funding Management Analyst to serve as a business and product subject matter expert for Deposits and Investment Portfolio liquidity data management and reporting.

This role will ensure regulatory compliance and reporting accuracy, while also identifying opportunities to enhance processes through automation, advanced analytics, and AI tools to strengthen controls and scalability.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Deposits and Investment Portfolio products within enterprise liquidity reporting frameworks
  • Analyze product behavior, balance dynamics, and cash flow characteristics to inform liquidity risk metrics and regulatory outputs
  • Ensure accurate and consistent product representation across FR 2052a, LCR, ILST, and internal liquidity analytics
  • Develop insights on deposit segmentation, stability assumptions, and investment portfolio treatment under stress scenarios
  • Maintain and enhance audit-ready documentation, including methodologies, assumptions, and control artifacts  
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards; proactively identify and remediate gaps
  • Support regulatory inquiries, audits, and remediation through clear, evidence-based responses
  • Drive automation and modernization of reporting processes using SQL, advanced analytics, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance variance analysis, trend identification, anomaly detection, and data quality monitoring
  • Partner with Technology to optimize data pipelines, transformation logic, and scalable reporting architecture
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of standardized, scalable liquidity reporting frameworks leveraging AI and advanced analytics
  • Evaluate new business initiatives and product strategies to assess impacts on liquidity reporting, controls, and regulatory treatment
  • Lead process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while strengthening governance and control effectiveness

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Deposits and Investment Portfolio products within liquidity frameworks
  • Deep understanding of regulatory liquidity reporting (FR 2052a, LCR, ILST, NSFR)
  • Experience with control frameworks, audit processes, and regulatory documentation
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools
  • Exposure to automation, data platforms, or AI-enabled analytics (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy, governance, and control integrity
