About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior AVP (Senior Business Execution Consultant).

This role sits within the Digital Self Service and Safety team in the Automation & Insights function, supporting the global change and product agenda for CIB. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing automation solutions using Power BI, PowerApps and Xceptor, enabling the continued expansion of CIB’s digital self‑service capabilities.

The role requires hands‑on technical build, strong analytical skills, and the ability to partner closely with Change, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver scalable, well‑controlled solutions that remove manual effort, improve data integrity, and strengthen the bank’s overall risk and control environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead support functions or operations for multiple business groups and contribute to large scale strategic initiatives
  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations
  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business
  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience
  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a proven ability to work in creating efficient and effective processes and controls with a goal to minimize systemic and systematic risks.

    Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
    • Power Automate
    • Dataverse
  • Experience integrating with:
    • REST APIs
    • SQL / SharePoint / enterprise data platforms
  • Solid programming background (any of):
    • Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar
  • Understanding of:
    • Data modelling and ETL concepts
    • Application architecture and design patterns
  • Software Engineering Capabilities

  • Experience with:
  • Version control (e.g. Git)
  • Testing frameworks and QA practices
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
  • Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Power Platform & Governance

  • Knowledge of:
    • Environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod)
    • Solution packaging and deployment
    • Platform governance and controls
  • Stakeholder & Communication Skills

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders clearly and confidently.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering across Operations, Front Office, Risk, and Technology teams.
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge constructively, and secure buy‑in for solution designs.
  • Comfortable presenting solutions, documenting processes, and facilitating workshops or walkthroughs.
  • Risk, Control & Governance

  • Understanding of operational risk, control frameworks, and data governance requirements within a regulated environment.
  • Ability to design solutions that are robust, compliant, and aligned to internal policies, audit requirements, and best practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of documentation, testing, and controls.
  • Awareness of enterprise constraints (e.g. connectors, permissions, security


Job Expectations:

1. Power Platform Development

  • Design, build, and enhance PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps) to meet business requirements
  • Develop workflows using Power Automate and integrate with enterprise systems
  • Leverage Dataverse and external data sources (SQL, SharePoint, APIs) to build scalable applications
  • Ensure applications follow enterprise governance and environment standard

2. Software Engineering & Solution Design

  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable architectures
  • Develop reusable components and maintainable code using best engineering practices
  • Apply software engineering principles across:
    • Code quality, version control, and CI/CD
    • API integrations and microservices (where applicable)
    • Application lifecycle management (ALM)
  • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirement

3. Data & Integration

  • Design and manage data models and data flows across Power Platform solutions
  • Build integrations with:
    • APIs and external systems
    • Enterprise tools (e.g. Power BI, SharePoint, Xceptor where applicable)
  • Ensure strong data governance, lineage, and quality controls

4. Delivery & Lifecycle Management

  • Support end-to-end SDLC:
    • Requirements gathering
    • Development
    • Testing (unit, integration, UAT)
    • Deployment and support
  • Identify risks and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
  • Contribute to release planning and production support

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business teams to understand use cases and translate them into solutions
  • Provide technical guidance to non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with:
    • Product Owners
    • Architects
    • QA and DevOps teams
  • Support adoption and enablement of Power Platform solutions

Working hours 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST

Hybrid working model at this point. Subject to change anytime as per Organization and Team needs.
