Senior Information Security Analyst - Metrics Gov & Reporting

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to serve as a key contributor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DATA domain metrics within the Cybersecurity Information Protection Domain (IPD) function.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide information security consultation to improve awareness and compliance with Enterprise Information Security policy, processes and standards

  • Perform remediation of security assessment review issues, complex ad hoc data, and reporting to support information security risk management

  • Provide guidance and direction in reviewing assessment findings and mitigating controls to optimize information security

  • Identify and direct information asset portfolio reconciliations and certifications

  • Provide advanced data aggregation and data of information security risk exposure

  • Develop and deliver Information Security Education Awareness and Training in accordance with the Enterprise Information Security Program standards

  • Review draft and proposed control standards for business impact and recommend modifications or clarifications as required

  • Conduct security control testing and consultation with stakeholders

  • Evaluate and interpret internal and Enterprise Information Security policies, processes and standards, and provide recommendations to improve them

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in information security, risk management, governance, or reporting coordination

  • Strong understanding of metrics governance, reporting processes, and data quality principles

  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting frameworks, dashboards, or metric programs

  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and organizations to deliver consistent outputs

  • Strong attention to detail with focus on data accuracy, completeness, and validation

  • Experience supporting audit, risk, or regulatory activities with documented evidence and traceability

  • Strong communication skills with ability to align stakeholders and drive timely outcomes

  • Experience with ERMA processes, roles, and responsibilities

  • Experience supporting Cybersecurity Dashboard (CS Dashboard) or similar enterprise reporting platforms

  • Experience serving as a Metric Owner or Delegate within a governance framework

  • Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI

  • Experience tracking work using Jira or similar workflow tools

  • Experience identifying process improvement opportunities to increase reporting efficiency and consistency

  • Understanding of control validation, evidence management, and audit support practices


Job Expectations:

  • Responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing all activities related to DATA domain metrics within the Executive Reporting Metrics and Analytics (ERMA) framework.

  • Act as the primary coordinator across all DATA domain metrics, partnering with metric owners across the Information Protection Risk Assessable Unit (IP RAU) and other RAUs to ensure timely, accurate, and complete delivery of metrics, supporting artifacts, and reporting outputs. This role may also serve as the Metric Owner or Delegate for select IP RAU-owned metrics.

  • Ensure audit readiness and governance effectiveness by maintaining strong controls over metric definitions, calculations, reporting processes, and supporting evidence. Success is defined by delivering consistent, high-quality metrics that meet enterprise standards for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and traceability.

  • Act as SME for DATA domain metrics, including governance, reporting, and ERMA-related activities

  • Coordinate across all metric owners (IP RAU and partner RAUs) to ensure alignment, accuracy, and timely submission of metrics

  • Support end-to-end ERMA processes, including portal updates, reporting deliverables, and required governance activities

  • Serve as Metric Owner or Delegate for select IP RAU metrics, as applicable

  • Ensure all metrics meet enterprise standards for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness

  • Maintain and validate supporting documentation and evidence to support audit, risk, and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor metric performance, identify discrepancies, and coordinate remediation actions with stakeholders

  • Ensure alignment between metric definitions, calculation logic, and reported outputs across platforms

  • Manage interactions with ERMA stakeholders, including coordinating updates, addressing questions, and supporting reviews

  • Support dashboard and portal updates related to DATA domain metrics within the CS Dashboard framework

  • Track and report status of metric submissions, issues, and dependencies across RAUs

  • Continuously improve metric processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and audit readiness
