About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to join Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet), the fastest-growing channel in Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). FiNet empowers independent financial advisors with a robust platform, resources, and services to help them grow and serve their clients effectively.
This high-impact role will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen FiNet's value proposition, enhance advisor and client experience, and support the channel's competitive positioning in the independent advisor marketplace. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management, stakeholder management, and business execution capabilities who can partner across multiple functions to drive meaningful outcomes.
In this role, you will:
Lead strategic initiatives that enhance FiNet’s platform, strengthen advisor and client experience, drive revenue growth, and improve operational efficiency.
Own the full project management lifecycle, including project planning, stakeholder identification, governance cadence, meeting facilitation, and documentation of decisions, actions, risks, and open items.
Review, refine, and develop policies in partnership with cross-functional teams across WIM, including Supervision, Compliance, Risk, Product, Operations, and Technology, to evolve FiNet's risk and compliance framework.
Collaborate closely with FiNet, Client Relationship Group (CRG), and WIM leadership to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively and on schedule.
Conduct analysis and generate actionable insights to support executive-level decision making and business strategy development.
Develop compelling executive presentations, communications, and materials tailored to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Research complex business, operational, regulatory, and strategic issues, leveraging analytical skills and a strong understanding of organizational strategy and business execution.
Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, control enhancement, and operational effectiveness.
Work independently to provide recommendations, thought leadership, and support on key initiatives.
Build and maintain strong partnerships across FiNet and WIM, helping to drive adoption and execution of programs, services, and strategic priorities.
Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and working sessions to drive alignment, accountability, and execution.
Support the evaluation, design, and implementation of enhancements to FiNet's platform, services, and operating model.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of Project Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
Experience within Wealth & Investment Management, Financial Services, Broker-Dealer, or advisor-facing businesses.
Knowledge of the independent advisor marketplace, advisor business models, practice management concepts, and industry trends.
Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Compliance, Risk, Supervision, Legal, Product, Operations, and Technology teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes in a highly matrixed organization.
Experience developing or enhancing business processes, controls, governance frameworks, and risk management practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with the ability to translate findings into business recommendations.
Exceptional verbal, written, and executive presentation skills.
Experience creating executive-level presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other business productivity tools.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Lean, or other project management certification preferred.
Direct experience supporting an independent broker-dealer, RIA platform, advisor engagement organization, or advisor-facing wealth management business is strongly preferred.
Job Expectations:

Present recommendations, project updates, business cases, and strategic insights to senior leadership and governance committees.
Analyze operational, business, risk, compliance, and advisor experience data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement strategies.
Facilitate working sessions, project meetings, steering committees, and governance forums to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
Develop and maintain project documentation, governance materials, business requirements, action plans, and executive communications.
Build strong partnerships across FiNet, WIM, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and other key stakeholder groups.
Drive adoption and execution of strategic initiatives through collaboration, influence, and effective change management practices.
Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, supervisory, and risk management requirements impacting the independent advisor business.
Serve as a strategic partner to FiNet leadership in advancing advisor growth, platform evolution, operational excellence, and risk management initiatives.
Support a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and client focus.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
