Senior Lead Product Manager- WIM Banking Deposits

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager - WIM Banking Deposits to join our Banking, Lending, & Trust (BL&T) group within Wealth & Investment Management (WIM).  As part of the WIM Deposits team, you will be responsible for the development and management of our banking products, pricing, and portfolio performance.  You will work with WIM Banking leaders, relationship managers, and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless delivery and service of banking solutions to WIM affluent and high-net-worth clients.  This role will lead the development of differentiated product value propositions, client experience, and go-to-market strategies designed to drive sustainable deposit balance growth and high client satisfaction. You will be responsible for setting product strategies and roadmaps that are client-centric, financially sound, and competitive in the marketplace. This includes managing checking and savings products, conducting market and competitive analysis, driving product innovation, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and execution excellence. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and leader in the deposits group, providing business insights, performance analysis, and execution support to drive growth and achieve business objectives. 

    Lead product and pricing strategy activities, including business reviews, performance reporting, scorecards, goal management, growth campaigns, and sales governance initiatives. 

    Deliver executive-level insights, analyses, and recommendations that identify opportunities, risks, and actions to provide the best products available to support client engagement and business performance. 

    Partner across sales, product, strategy, analytics, technology, operations, and line-of-business teams to execute strategic initiatives and enhance business processes, reporting capabilities, and operating routines. 

    Analyze data, research client needs, and provide actionable insights that help identify treasury management opportunities. 

    Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and process optimization. 

    Support field readiness and adoption of strategic initiatives through change management, communications, training, and sales enablement activities. 

    Lead the resolution of complex business challenges and drive the development and implementation of scalable, cross-functional solutions. 

    Ensure products and programs adhere to regulations and policies; oversee product risk management to ensure effective controls, policies and procedures. 


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Proven senior-level accountability influencing deposit product strategy, priorities, economics, and outcomes including checking account adoption and bonus offers targeting broker/dealer clients.

Experience with bank, broker/dealer, and other financial services 

Experience supporting deposit product strategy, business reviews, scorecards, goal setting, growth campaigns, and sales governance programs. 

Strong product and program management expertise, including roadmap development, strategy, and end-to-end lifecycle delivery in an Agile environment 

Strong analytical skills with experience transforming sales, pipeline, client, operational, and financial data into actionable insights and executive recommendations. 

​Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools. 

Experience partnering with sales, product, strategy, analytics, technology, and operations teams to deliver business process improvements and strategic initiatives. 

Experience developing reporting solutions and AI-enabled automation capabilities. 

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive adoption of new tools, business processes, reporting capabilities, and operating routines by synthesizing complex inputs into clear, executive-level communications, providing visibility into progress, tradeoffs, risks, and recommended actions 

Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences. 

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and consultative skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. 

Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact. 


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment which you will be required to work at least 3 days in the office and 2 days remote
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
