In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS), and Python to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale data integration solutions.
This role is responsible for building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines, enabling seamless data movement across on-premises and cloud platforms, and delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions for analytics, reporting, regulatory, and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in legacy-to-modern ETL migrations, data warehousing, automation, performance optimization, and production support.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, Informatica PowerCenter, and Informatica IDMC/IICS.
- Lead modernization and migration initiatives from PowerCenter/SSIS to IDMC and Python-based data processing frameworks.
- Develop and optimize data integration solutions for SQL Server, Oracle, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data warehouses.
- Build Python-based utilities, frameworks, and automation solutions for data ingestion, validation, reconciliation, logging, monitoring, and orchestration.
- Perform complex data transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and data quality implementations using SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
- Develop and maintain data integration processes across heterogeneous sources, including relational databases, flat files, APIs, cloud storage, and SaaS platforms.
- Implement robust error handling, audit logging, restartability, and performance tuning capabilities within ETL workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, data modelers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support production deployments, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and the establishment of ETL/data engineering best practices and standards.
- Work with enterprise scheduling and orchestration tools such as Control-M, Autosys, SQL Agent, Informatica Scheduler, or equivalent platforms.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-sharing artifacts.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
