About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior CIB Lending Operations Middle Office Specialist to join our Diversified Industries group as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO).

The Senior Specialist serves as a dedicated, business-aligned coordinator and primary point of contact for assigned lines of business and external stakeholders, facilitating the timely execution, fulfillment, servicing, and operational support of complex corporate lending transactions while resolving inquiries and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements throughout the lending lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a critical intermediary between the front office and back office during the lending origination and trading process
  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the functional area within Corporate & Investment Banking Lending Operations in middle office function
  • Execute moderately complex credit structures and non‑standard transactions
  • Consult with deal teams on credit execution requirements; supporting audits and regulatory inquiries, developing and updating procedures and job aids, guiding junior team members and providing informal mentorship
  • Contribute to large‑scale planning for functional deliverables
  • Analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges requiring in‑depth evaluation
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead projects, teams, or processes to meet deliverables
  • Leverage solid understanding of functional policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and mid‑level managers
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff, as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Corporate or Commercial Banking credit/loan operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of systems, primarily nCino and LIQ
  • Knowledge of corporate banking booking and funding processes
  • Understanding of corporate loan structures and navigation of credit documents, specifically outside counsel prepared credit, guarantee, and security agreements
  • Ability to working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to compete high-quality work product
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$77,000.00 - $133,000.00
