About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Associate.
Individuals who can independently manage servicing activities and customer issues across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will combine commercial lending knowledge, customer focus, systems-of-record proficiency, operational risk judgment, and process-improvement capability. The specialist will translate servicing requirements into accurate operational actions and drive assigned matters through resolution.
This is a professional individual-contributor role. The specialist may train or guide peers but does not necessarily hold formal people-management responsibility.
In this role, you will:
- Provide support for servicing activities for commercial products, commercial real estate, and problem loans
- Coordinate resolution of open issues with customers; and interact with internal and external customers
- Provide customer service, loan and regulatory diligence, and ongoing portfolio maintenance, related to low to medium tasks and deliverables
- Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record
- Serve as an escalation point in the resolution of client issues
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters which developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Provide guidance and training to peers
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Provide information to managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers if applicable
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Commercial Loan Servicing experience supporting Commercial Real Estate, Construction, Agency, Syndicated, Participated, and Bilateral loan portfolios, with strong expertise in the Loan IQ platform.
- Experience reviewing loan-servicing documentation and translating requirements into operational actions.
- Experience in maintaining and validating information in commercial lending systems of record i.e. Loan IQ.
- Experience resolving customer, transaction, documentation, system, or operational issues.
- Working knowledge of commercial lending products, the loan lifecycle, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience coordinating with multiple internal or external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, risk-evaluation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a high-volume and deadline-driven environment.
- Identifying procedural gaps and recommending practical improvements.
- Reducing avoidable rework, repeat exceptions, and customer impact.
- Maintaining complete and audit-ready servicing records.
- Providing peers with useful technical guidance and training.
Job Expectations:
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer-management skills.
- Shift timings: Night shifts (6:30 PM IST onwards) flexible to work on different shifts based on business requirement.
- Team to follow US holiday calendar.
