About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors

  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs

  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements

  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects

  • Mentor less experienced staff

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, or Risk Analytics with hands-on solution development and technical leadership.

  • Expert-level Python proficiency (basic to advanced) for analytics, automation, anomaly detection, machine learning, agent development, and scalable monitoring platforms.

  • Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, LLM APIs, Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and AI-powered analytics solutions.

  • Experience designing and developing Agentic AI solutions, including multi-step reasoning, tool orchestration, workflow automation, and context management.

  • Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and integrating AI solutions across enterprise systems, applications, and data sources.

  • Strong expertise in unstructured data analytics, NLP, anomaly detection, feature engineering, and risk signal extraction.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

  • Experience building solutions on GCP and cloud-native analytics platforms.

  • Proven experience leading SAS-to-Python modernization, analytics automation, and platform transformation initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of analytics architecture, AI engineering, model governance, explainability, and production deployment standards.

  • Experience developing custom agents, copilots, chat-based applications, or AI-enabled developer tools.

  • Working knowledge of Node.js/TypeScript, Java-based services, and modern software engineering practices supporting AI platforms.

  • Experience designing and reviewing visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Python.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives, establish development standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor analytics and engineering teams.

  • Proven ability to influence enterprise AI adoption and partner with senior leaders on technology roadmaps and scalable AI solutions.

Job Expectations:

  • Demonstrate ability to execute effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas.

  • Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including executive management, regulatory examiners and internal auditors.

  • Candidate must be willing to work at Bangalore or Hyderabad

  • Candidate must be willing to work on mid-shift (1:30 PM - 10:30 PM), Mon - Fri, weekend off.

  • Candidate must be willing to work onsite
