In this role, you will:

  • Support team performance in identifying control failures in bank processes, procedures, customer, or colleague decisions

  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within fraud and claims functional area

  • Perform complex operational tasks, including review, verification, and identification of customer transactions to detect and prevent fraud, policy violations or resolve merchant disputes in order to mitigate and recover losses

  • Provide subject matter knowledge and interpretation of procedures to less experienced staff

  • Interact with fraud and claims functional area on a wide range of information as well as with external customers

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



Desired Qualifications:

  • Banking, financial services, or operations experience, including fraud prevention, risk mitigation, or transaction review

  • Experience identifying and investigating potential fraud or high-risk activity, with the ability to take appropriate action to prevent financial loss

  • Experience researching, analyzing, and resolving complex financial transactions while determining appropriate next steps

  • Proficiency with fraud and risk management systems, including PREVENT, RMS, LexisNexis, and HOGAN

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Customer service and call center experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Ability to make sound, independent decisions with urgency while balancing risk and customer impact

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple applications, systems, and research tools to efficiently gather and evaluate information

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision in a structured environment

  • Skilled at delivering exceptional customer experiences, including active listening, information gathering, issue resolution, and handling complex customer inquiries

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or a related field

  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Certification

    Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in the listed location (hybrid schedule)
     

  • Training Schedule:

    11/2/26 to 11/20: Mon – Fri 7am to 4pm AZ Time
     

  • Schedule:

    M-F 9:30a-6p AZ MST or Tue-Sat 9:30a-6p AZ MST



    This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship
    Must be able to attend full duration of required training period
    Ability to work additional hours as needed
    Must work on-site at the location posted
