About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Quality Assurance Administrator to join the Chief Operating Office (COO), an organization dedicated to strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, driving operational excellence, and supporting effective business execution across the enterprise. In this role, you will help oversee and enhance Front Line Control Group supervision activities by monitoring sales, service, compliance, and operational practices, while identifying opportunities to improve controls, processes, policies, and customer-focused outcomes. You will partner closely with U.S. line of business leaders and key stakeholders to assess operational risk, evaluate the effectiveness of controls and supervision programs, support risk mitigation initiatives, and contribute to the successful execution of business priorities. In this role, you will:
- Document quality findings, performance measures, exceptions, and emerging trends for management review.
- Provide clear, factual feedback and procedural information to team members based on established quality standards and guidelines.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the risk-based Front Line Control Group supervision program, including performance triggers and program-effectiveness measures.
- Research, inspect, and monitor detection strategies and associated outcomes to help identify potential operational risks.
- Perform moderately complex reviews and testing of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives, and internal controls using established testing procedures.
- Document test results and identified issues, and escalate concerns to senior team members or management for further review.
- Support projects and initiatives intended to mitigate operational risk or improve processes, policies, procedures, and tools.
- Assist with tracking corrective actions designed to address identified control deficiencies and risk concerns.
- Execute Centralized Supervision procedures and maintain working knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures, conduct risk activities, and supervision requirements.
- Work with internal business partners to resolve quality or control-related questions and support the operational needs of the assigned business line.
- Manage multiple applications, systems, and sources of information while maintaining accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Administer programs, projects, or processes specific to the business
- Manage requests for community relations events, sponsorships, company funding, volunteer activities, and special programs
- Perform business operations that are administrative in nature
- Facilitate efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and escalate concerns related to the assigned operation
- Provide subject matter knowledge and interpretation of procedures to key business partners
- Coordinate and monitor implementation and maintenance of processes, procedures, and policies
- Interact with immediate Strategy and Execution colleagues on operational initiatives
- Provide support for a variety of diverse support functions for multiple business groups or a specific line of business.
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year of Quality Assurance support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of Community Relations, Business Operations or Strategic Planning experience
- 1+ year of experience in control testing
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience in banking, financial services, operational risk, control management, compliance, conduct risk, or centralized supervision functions.
- Knowledge of risk and control frameworks, operational risk management practices, and regulatory requirements within a financial services environment.
- Experience supporting Community Banking or partnering with U.S.-based line of business teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and MS-Excel
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule aligned to U.S. business hours. Standard shift timing is 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST; however, work hours may vary based on business needs, projects, and stakeholder requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assists with the implementation and monitoring of a risk-based Front Line Control Group supervision program, including performance triggers, measurement of initiatives and program effectiveness to identify and assess operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events.
- Research, inspection and monitoring of detection strategies and their corresponding outcome.
- Provides support for projects and initiatives to identify and mitigate operational risk or opportunities to improve processes, policies and/or tools.
- Tests the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, initiatives and internal controls; drafts reports of findings for operational risk management; identifies operational risk issues; and works with higher level consultants to analyze issues and assist in implementing action plans to address deficiencies and mitigate risk.
- Maintain robust understanding of bank policy and procedures.
- Executing Centralized Supervision procedures and maintaining working knowledge of conduct risk activities and supervision efforts.-
