Business Execution Director - Change Delivery and Execution

About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director of Change Delivery and Execution to lead Human Resources (HR) Program and Change Management team. This leader will bring the planning, coordination, and discipline needed to deliver HR's highest-priority strategic initiatives in a product operating model. The role is accountable for managing HR's portfolio of initiatives and ensuring intended business, employee, and organizational outcomes are achieved.

The portfolio consists of complex, cross-functional, and highly visible initiatives that span people, process, technology, and organizational transformation. Working closely with product leaders, HR Centers of Excellence, Technology, Risk, Communications, and other enterprise partners, this leader will drive alignment, establish clear ownership, and ensure disciplined execution across strategic priorities.

This leader will proactively manage risks, dependencies, capacity needs, and the impacts of change while helping leaders make informed decisions and tradeoffs. They will champion outcome-based delivery, strengthen strategic partnerships, and ensure change management, adoption, and value realization are integrated throughout the lifecycle of key initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Program and Change Management organization responsible for delivering HR's highest-priority strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to ongoing operations.
  • Manage and govern HR's strategic portfolio, ensuring priorities, resources, investments, and delivery efforts are aligned to business and employee outcomes.
  • Partner with HR product leaders, Centers of Excellence, Technology, Risk, and enterprise stakeholders to drive integrated execution within a product operating model.
  • Establish clear plans, milestones, decision points, ownership, and success measures across large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and execution challenges while driving timely decisions and accountability.
  • Drive outcome-based delivery by measuring business impact, employee experience, adoption, and value realization beyond traditional project metrics.
  • Champion organizational transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement efforts that modernize HR services and employee experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by providing strategic recommendations, executive communications, and actionable insights on portfolio priorities and execution.
  • Identify opportunities to responsibly leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, to improve operational effectiveness and service delivery.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team while advancing program and change management capabilities, talent strategies, and execution excellence across HR.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience



Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large-scale HR transformation, workforce modernization, employee experience, talent, or shared services initiatives.
  • Understanding of AI-enabled capabilities and emerging technologies, including opportunities to improve employee experiences, service delivery, and business outcomes.
  • Experience leading enterprise portfolios comprising multiple concurrent strategic initiatives, balancing priorities, resources, dependencies, and business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with product organizations and applying product operating model principles to drive cross-functional delivery, prioritization, and value realization.
  • Demonstrated ability to shift organizations from activity-based execution to outcome-based measurement and value realization.
  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with senior executives, product leaders, and business stakeholders to influence priorities, decisions, and enterprise outcomes.
  • Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Experience embedding change management, adoption, readiness, and sustainment strategies into large-scale business, organizational, process, and technology transformations.
  • Experience leading teams through organizational, operating model, process, and technology transformation while maintaining engagement and execution excellence.
  • Experience building, developing, and evolving high-performing program and change management teams, including capability development, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategies.

Pay Range
 


Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
