About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Cash Management Operations Assistant to join our EMEA Cash Management Operations team in London.
In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of cash, liquidity, and funding activities across EMEA entities. Working closely with Treasury, Operations, and business partners across the bank, you will help ensure the efficient management of payment flows, funding requirements, nostro accounts, and Treasury reporting within a strong risk and control environment.

In this role, you will:
Monitor daily cash positions and nostro account activity, identifying and escalating exceptions, funding requirements, and unusual transactions.
Support Treasury teams by providing timely information on payment flows, liquidity positions, and daily funding needs.
Assist in managing end-of-day account balances and work with Operations partners to resolve outstanding items.
Provide visibility of significant transactions and emerging issues to senior team members and stakeholders.
Support funding activities across EMEA entities to facilitate the timely settlement of payments and obligations.
Contribute to liquidity management activities, including monitoring and reducing excess cash balances.
Prepare and distribute daily cash flow reporting and management information to Treasury teams.
Produce key operational and management reporting, including support for FX risk and control reporting.
Perform system controls and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of cash management data.
Support the opening and maintenance of correspondent banking and nostro accounts in partnership with Treasury and Network Management teams.
Adhere to established risk and control procedures, escalating issues appropriately and contributing to a strong governance framework.
Participate in audits, regulatory reviews, control testing, and risk management activities.
Support process improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and change management projects.
Required Qualifications
Experience in cash management, treasury operations, commercial banking operations, loan servicing, or a related financial services environment, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, and education.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a controlled operational environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and confidence working with operational data.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Basic knowledge of banking products, payments, liquidity management, or Treasury processes is desirable.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders.
