Digital Product Management Senior Manager - Workplace Technology Regulated Messaging

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Digital Product Management Director to lead the strategy, roadmap, execution, and release governance for the Regulated Messaging product portfolio serving regulated users. This portfolio spans enterprise archive, identity and entitlements, data feed onboarding and migration, electronic communications surveillance, and voice recording. This role partners closely with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Line of Business stakeholders to deliver resilient, regulatory-compliant digital products at scale.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a specialised team of managers and senior individual contributors responsible for product strategy, technical programme execution, release readiness, and governance across Regulated Messaging products.
  • Lead end-to-end product and release lifecycle management from strategy and roadmap definition through planning, readiness, delivery, post-release review, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for initiatives with impact across the business line and potential enterprise-wide impact, including archive, surveillance, voice recording, identity and entitlements, and data feed onboarding and migration.
  • Drive structured, metrics-led delivery improvement across engineering and product teams, translating complex technical, operational, and regulatory requirements into actionable plans and priorities.
  • Interpret and develop policies, procedures, governance practices, and control frameworks for functions with moderate to high complexity and risk.
  • Ensure SDLC, ECM, security, non-functional, and regulatory requirements are met ahead of release, and that solutions are designed, validated, and delivered in alignment with enterprise standards and risk frameworks.
  • Maintain release health, risk, dependency, and issue management, and provide executive-level summaries, delivery insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership, and partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Control teams, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Line of Business stakeholders.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development, accountability, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:

  • Digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education.
  • Management or leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in regulated communications platforms including archive, retention, surveillance, legal hold, and eDiscovery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive leadership experience in digital product management or technology within highly regulated financial services environments.
  • Hands-on experience leading identity, entitlement, data feed onboarding, migration, and release management programs.
  • Proven vendor management and contract negotiation experience, including AI- and cloud-related terms.
  • Strong governance, compliance, and regulatory examination experience across first and second lines of defense.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks including FCA, PRA, OCC, MiFID II, and Dodd-Frank.
  • Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams of managers and senior individual contributors.
  • Deep familiarity with regulated electronic communications retention and surveillance platforms, enterprise collaboration platforms, and workplace technologies.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytics orientation, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Experience defining operating models, risk frameworks, controls, process inventories, and delivery improvement plans in support of audit-ready and regulator-ready outcomes.
