About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of compliance and regulatory systems experience

  • 2+ years of working with JMeter & Blaze Meter

  • 2+ years of Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin and TestNG

  • 2+ years of REST API testing

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Good problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Server Side:

  • 4+ years of Java experience

  • 3+ years of Spring Boot, Spring Batch & Microservices experience 

  • Solid understanding of the object-oriented programming concepts

  • 2+ years of JPA/Hibernate experience.

  • 2+ years working with JUnit & Mockito.

  • UI

  • 3+ years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (Angular)

  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

  • 2+ years of interfacing with Microservices & JSON

  • 2+ years working with Jasmine and Karma for unit testing.

  • Database:

  • 4+ years of data modeling experience

  • 4+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation

  • 4+ years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning.

  • General:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience

  • 4+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components.

  • 3+ years of SQL development

  • 2+ years of Source Code Repositories like GIT

  • 2+ years with Gradle

  • 2+ years of JIRA

  • 2+ years working with and implementing Agile based delivery.


Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours.
