About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to shape and scale our Home Lending digital experiences across web and mobile. In this role, you will set an outcome-driven product strategy that simplifies the home lending journey, reduces friction, and delivers measurable value for customers and the business.
In this role you will drive the product roadmap, and results for key digital capabilities—grounded in customer needs, data, and market insight. You’ll lead continuous discovery and validation (problem framing, experimentation, and solution testing) and partner with the Business, Engineering and Design to deliver increments that are viable for the business, feasible for technology, desirable for customers, and compliant within a highly regulated environment.
As a product manager in a matrixed organization, you will navigate ambiguity, influence executive decisions, and align partners across Product, Design, Engineering, Operations, and Legal/Risk/Compliance. You will define success metrics, build clear business cases, and continuously communicate progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes—ensuring we deliver secure, accessible, and high-quality experiences.
In this role, you will:
Own outcomes end-to-end: define problems worth solving, set measurable OKRs, and manage a multi-quarter roadmap to maximize customer and business value.
Lead discovery with Human-Centered Design: map journeys, blueprint services, and run experiments/assumption tests to validate desirability, viability, feasibility, and usability before and during build.
Turn insights into decisions: instrument funnels, define KPI dashboards, and use analytics (e.g., Adobe CJA, Glassbox) and qualitative feedback to guide prioritization and iteration.
Influence at the executive level: develop business cases, articulate tradeoffs, and drive alignment on strategic investments, funding, and release decisions.
Lead across a matrix: partner with Design, Engineering, enterprise Digital, and Legal/Risk/Compliance to deliver compliant, scalable solutions and manage dependencies across teams.
Prioritize and deliver: maintain a healthy backlog in Jira, write clear outcomes and acceptance criteria, and apply value-based prioritization to balance near-term delivery with long-term strategy.
Use GenAI responsibly: accelerate research, synthesis, and documentation to improve decision quality and speed, in alignment with enterprise policies and controls.
Lead through influence and mentorship: coach product peers, contribute to team standards, and, as needed, lead initiatives or workstreams across multiple squads.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product management, product development, digital experience delivery, or strategic planning (or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education).
Desired Qualifications:
Outcome ownership: Demonstrated accountability for measurable results, from discovery through delivery and optimization.
Strategic business cases: Ability to size opportunities, articulate ROI, and align investments to enterprise goals.
Product discovery & HCD: Proficiency with journey mapping, service blueprints, and experimentation to reduce risk and validate solutions.
Digital channel expertise: Experience delivering complex web/mobile experiences and partnering with engineers on platform and integration constraints.
Matrixed leadership: Strong stakeholder management and influence across Product, Technology, Operations, and Legal/Risk/Compliance.
Data-driven decisioning: Comfortable defining metrics, building narratives from data, and using digital analytics tools (e.g., Adobe CJA, Glassbox, or equivalents).
GenAI utilization: Practical experience using GenAI tools to improve research, synthesis, and documentation quality and speed.
Agile execution: Strong backlog management in Jira, experience working in agile delivery teams, and ability to manage releases, dependencies, and delivery risk.
Job Expectations:
This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo compliance policies. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

Minneapolis, MN & Wilmington, DE : $131,000 to $206,000 annual
Other Locations: $119,000 to $187,000 annual

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
