Lead FiNet Business Support Manager

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Support Manager to support the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network within Wealth and Investment Management. In this role, the Lead FiNet Business Support Manager will lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives designed to strengthen risk management, enhance operational efficiency, and improve both the client and advisor experience across multiple groups within our brokerage support organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives in support functions for multiple business groups with broad impact and act as a key participant contributing to large-scale strategic initiatives for Brokerage Support
  • Review, analyze, influence, and lead complex relationship management initiatives, including the planning and execution of programs and services that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience, with cross functional business partners
  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, solid understanding of organizational strategy, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead the broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and partner with operations and servicing leadership to resolve complex escalations.
  • Identify, strategize, and make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership
  • Support the onboarding, training, recognition, engagement, and development across the division; consult on the talent development of Business Support Managers
  • Serve as a peer mentor and support talent development

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) level understanding of operational functions, products, or platform tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities, projects and initiatives in a fast paced, highly regulated environment
  • Proven ability to assess processes, identify risk or inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that drive operational excellence
  • Experience conducting project meetings, presentations and status reporting
  • Experience with FiNet and/or independent advisors
  • Strong operational experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of brokerage advisor tools

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel if necessary, within the division
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
