In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.

  • 3+ years of Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application platforms.

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting event-driven architectures using Kafka and/or IBM MQ.

  • 3+ years of experience working with API gateways and enterprise integration patterns.

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

  • 3+ years of experience using Git-based source control and collaborative development practices.

  • 3+ years of experience working with relational databases, SQL development, and data modeling.

  • 5+ years of experience applying software engineering best practices, secure coding principles, and modern application design patterns.

  • 1+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed systems and cloud-native applications.

  • 2+ years of experience leading technical design, solution architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience developing applications and automation solutions using Python.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, and DevSecOps practices.

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

  • Experience with public and hybrid cloud platforms.

  • Experience with Generative AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI architectures.

  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI adoption frameworks.

  • Experience building integrations with document management, workflow, automation, or content management platforms.

  • Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience.

  • Experience driving modernization initiatives, application transformation, or cloud migration efforts.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across multiple teams.

  • Experience working in Agile and product-centric delivery environments

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of visa

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay range:

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Base salary- 119,000.00 - 187,000.00 USD Annual
