Capital Management - Treasury Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Analyst within the Capital Management team to support capital planning, analytics, stress testing and legal entity activities. This role will assist in the development of analysis, reporting, and insights that help inform capital management, regulatory readiness, and strategic decision-making. The individual will partner across Treasury, Finance, and Risk to achieve these goals while building expertise in a dynamic environment


In this role, you will:

  • Support capital management and legal entity activities through analysis of capital and other metrics, trends, and key drivers
  • Prepare analyses, presentations, and supporting materials for capital management, governance, and regulatory-related activities
  • Partner with Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and support analysis
  • Analyze drivers of capital, RWA, leverage exposure, and other metrics to support business and regulatory reporting
  • Support the assessment of new and evolving regulatory requirements and their potential impacts on capital management and reporting processes
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reporting, documentation, and controls within the capital management framework
  • Contribute to team initiatives by collaborating effectively across functions and supporting multiple priorities and deliverables


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of capital management, treasury, stress testing, or regulatory capital concepts
  • Experience preparing analyses, reporting, or presentation materials for management audiences
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
  • Experience with data management or reporting tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Relevant experience in Treasury, Finance, Risk, Accounting, Banking, or another analytical discipline
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong working relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
