About this role:

Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) is seeking a Lead Technology Business Services Consultant who will specialize in Vendor Strategy and Relationship Management. This position is part of the Enterprise Functions Vendor Management team and requires prior, hands-on experience in vendor management, financial management, and executive-level stakeholder engagement. The candidate selected for this role must demonstrate expertise in budget planning, financial forecasting, vendor funding and payment management, and advanced Excel-based financial analysis and will need to have direct hands-on experience with procurement and accounting platforms such as Ariba. The role regularly supports executive decision-making, requiring the ability to prepare clear, concise communications and presentations for senior leadership approval of vendor spend and investment requests. The person selected for this role must have experience working directly with senior engineering leaders, architects, CIO organizations, and business partners to manage vendor portfolios, conduct risk assessments, support Preferred Supplier List (PSL) governance, and oversee relationships within a large, complex vendor ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

  • Work as part of the EFT Vendor Management team to support, track and report on the day-to-day activities of full functional Vendor management team.

  • Participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high-profile business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services

  • Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions by using automation tools to enhance the Vendor Management team's performance and capabilities.

  • Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise

  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives

  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives

  • Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions

  • Provide guidance on leveraging new technology & Vendors

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of experience in full lifecycle vendor management, including vendor selection, contract administration, performance monitoring, supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, and ongoing governance across complex vendor portfolios.

  • 5+ years of experience working with procurement and accounting platforms such as Ariba, supporting purchase order management, invoice processing, vendor funding, budget tracking, spend analysis, and financial reporting to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with organizational policies

  • 5+ years of experience partnering with and supporting senior leaders, executive stakeholders, technology leaders, and business partners by providing strategic insights, preparing executive-level communications and presentations, conducting financial analysis, and delivering data-driven recommendations that support informed decision-making and organizational objectives.

 Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing vendor spend, investment requests, and strategic sourcing communications for executive-level review

  • Experience conducting vendor risk assessments and governance reviews

  • Experience providing governance for Preferred Supplier List (PSL) processes, including supplier performance management, policy adherence, and strategic supplier selection

  • Ability to manage relationships across a large and complex vendor ecosystem, fostering strong partnerships, driving accountability, and optimizing supplier performance

  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration among technology, procurement, risk, finance, and business teams to ensure effective vendor oversight and governance

  • Strong ability to analyze vendor investments, spend trends, and performance metrics, providing recommendations that support operational efficiency and strategic business outcomes

  • Capability to leverage data-driven insights, concise reporting, and stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels to enhance executive-level decision-making
