Neurodiversity is the range of differences in individual brain function and behavioral traits, regarded as part of normal variation in the human population.
Neurodiversity includes inherent cognitive differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Dyslexia, and others.
The Neurodiversity Program was launched in April 2020 in honor of Autism Awareness Month to support a profoundly underserved community that suffers high and disproportionate unemployment rates. The first cohort was initiated in August of 2020 and since then 190 full-time employees have been hired into technology roles in the U.S. and India. Recent enterprise expansion has provided opportunities in Corporate Finance and there are ongoing discussions with our Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth & Investment Management, Credit Card, HR/Accommodations and Legal teams.
We have begun planning for a new learning series called Developing My Career at Wells Fargo (internal mobility and effective employment) and are incubating a skills development platform (Community Enrichment) to facilitate community engagement with the neurodiversity community. Fundamentally, this model is extensible to support a diversity of historically underserved and underrepresented populations.
meaningful employment opportunities for a deeply underserved community through accessible and modernized sourcing and selection processes.
employee programs to enrich the lives and experiences of our employees by creating strong support structures that foster well-being, equity and inclusion.

From program inception through December 16, 2022.
