The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

The Consumer Lending team is committed to developing our future leaders of tomorrow, and as part of that commitment, we offer both Internships and full time Analyst programs. These programs provide undergraduate students with a blend of business and professional developmental training opportunities concentrated around analytical thinking, credit acumen and product management. These opportunities incorporate real-world experiences and prepare you for your future career.  

What will you do?

Your responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive on-the-job training and development to broaden your professional and technical skills within Consumer Lending
  • Analyze data and present findings & recommendations to leaders
  • Partner with experienced professionals dedicated to serving customers
  • Work on customer centric projects across lines of business to enhance current processes and identify best practices
  • Gain insights into and experience collaboration with business partners on strategy, planning, and project management
  • Expand your professional network through mentorship, sponsorship, and engagement with senior leadership

Program structure and desired qualifications:

  • Summer Internship for juniors. Program length is 10 weeks
  • Full-time Analyst Program for graduating seniors. Program length is 24 months
  • Preferred major concentration in: Business, Analytics, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Project Management, and/or Finance. All majors are welcome to apply
  • Demonstrated innovative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and self-starter initiated through projects, coursework, and/or extracurricular enrichment activities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
  • Basic proficiency in any of these tools, Power Bi, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, and/or other analytics tools
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and solve analytical problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to organize insights from multiple sources into a clear story
