
Program overview
The Julie Scammahorn National Military Apprenticeship Program is a Department of Labor-registered initiative offering structured 1- and 2-year apprenticeships designed to help Veterans, Reservists, and National Guard members successfully transition into civilian careers. Through a blend of hands-on learning and formal instruction, the program bridges military skill sets with in-demand roles across Wells Fargo. Participants are hired as full-time employees from day one, receiving competitive pay and benefits, and upon successful completion, they transition into traditional roles within the company.

Program details
- Open to all U.S. military veterans, and those in the Guard or Reserves (from all eras)
- Must meet location expectations (you must relocate if not currently in place)
- Roles and location vary with each cohort
- Eligible for VA Education Benefits

Program structure
- 1 to 2 year programs available through all Lines of Business
- Department of Labor approved and structured learning paths
- Assigned Alumni mentors to assist with introducing the apprentices to the Wells Fargo culture
