Testimonials

David

“This program has done an amazing job by allowing those that have been historically marginalized by society to shine in their abilities and become stars in the workplace.” – David, Program Hire

Matt

“Wells Fargo's program was the polar-opposite of the typical interview process… They wanted to know us; they accepted us as we were; they treated our neurodiversity with respect and understanding. Wells Fargo wasn't putting us on. They were the real deal.” – Matt, Program Hire

Michelle

“The unique initial hiring event really allowed me to shine in ways that normal interview processes never enabled me to. Being able to meet many of the managers during the interview showed me the company has genuine interest and value in even their potential employees.” – Michelle, Program Hire

Danielle

"As a neurodivergent person, navigating through my career has been challenging. I have always felt like I needed to hide my diagnosis in the fear that I would be sidelined in my career. For the first time, I feel like I work for a company that values divergent thinking and processing. I feel seen, respected and appreciated. This program has given me the courage to tell my leaders about my neurodivergence and ask for the support that I need to be successful.”  – Danielle,  Program Hire

Max

"Wanted to let you know Kalyn’s a rock star!  She participated in a 10-week early talent program we piloted in WIMT, where she was able to upskill herself with Java/Spring, Mongo DB and Angular.  Not only has Kalyn been pulling down development stories and helping her scrum team out for the past couple months.  She has now passed her Cloud Fundamental Exam.” – Max,  Hiring Manager

Triana

“This last 45 minutes or so – how you were all addressing the candidates’ candid concerns and fears about not doing well (while remaining equitable) and being so honest and encouraging – I’m really just so moved." - Triana, Program Hire

Alden

" ...this helps with my anxiety during this process. I'm so excited to hear that the participating managers were selected due to their high emotional intelligence and empathy.” - Alden,  Program Hire

Laura

“I just wanted to start your week with a wonderful story about the WF Technology team’s neurodiversity program. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and last night, I received a text from my next-door neighbor. His son is on the autism spectrum- a truly brilliant guy who once taught my 10yr old robotics at a summer camp. They asked me to come over to share the amazing news that Jeffrey had just been offered a job to work for Wells Fargo technology in Charlotte as an associate engineer.

Jeffrey, normally quite a serious kid, was beaming with pride. He told me all about the Super Week process, and how he was asked to create a program using any language that was “very easy” for him. He had already Google-mapped his new workplace, and was thinking of where he can live, and how he can bike to work! His mother, a lawyer/professor, whispered to me that this was the first job that she did not have to help him get, and how remarkable Wells Fargo is to recognize the brilliance of these young professionals.

I just wanted to share what a difference you’ve made to Wells Fargo, and to the neurodiverse community. Thank you and the team for all of your work on this meaningful program.” – Laura, Friend of Employee

Alesia

"Honestly, for the first time ever, reading about your program makes me want to become a Wells Fargo customer. I moved from North Carolina to D.C. three years ago and I've insisted on keeping my (other institution) bank accounts out of loyalty and just familiarity, despite their not having any branches in my area. After reading your article about the Neurodiversity Program and how you're helping smart people who are marginalized in the business community simply because they learn differently is nothing short of remarkable.

God bless you for helping the underserved in our communities."  - Alesia, Potential Customer
