Definitions

Family relationship (biological, adopted, marriage, domestic partnership, civil union, custom, or some other arrangement) includes:

  • Current or former spouse or domestic partner (have been married or lived together at any time)
  • Parents and grandparents (including great-, step-, in-law, domestic partner, and foster)
  • Children and grandchildren (including great-, step-, in-law, domestic partner, foster relationships)
  • Brothers and sisters (including step-sibling, in-law, foster, and domestic partner relationships)
  • Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, or cousins

 

Close personal contact includes:

  • A romantic or dating partner
  • A person with whom an employee has had a child, if that person is not otherwise a family member.
  • A roommate or member of same household.
  • A person with whom an employee has a financial dependency on another employee.
  • Any other person with whom an employee has a relationship that creates an actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest.

 

Contingent Resource:

Contingent resource is a broad term that encompasses contractor resources, external consultants, or alternative resources who may or may not have access to Wells Fargo systems and facilities depending on the nature of the assignment. These resources are employees of a supplier who provides a service or deliverable to Wells Fargo, or they are an individual providing a service or deliverable through a Wells Fargo contract. A contingent resource is not an employee of Wells Fargo.
