Senior Government Official

Senior Government Official includes a government official who occupies an influential position within a government or a government owned entity and makes or has the ability or authority to make decisions for or on behalf of that government entity. Government owned entity includes entities where a government directly or indirectly:
(1) owns more than 40% of the entity;
(2) controls 40% of any class of voting stock of an entity; or
(3) otherwise exercises the control of an entity (for example, via board membership appointment, veto rights). 

Examples that are generally NOT considered senior government officials include non-managerial police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, postal employees, clerical workers, professors, teachers, librarians and public transportation employees.

Senior Executive includes, the Chief Executive Officer, voting members of the Board of Directors, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer or General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer, or other senior employees who have decision making authority over business with Wells Fargo.
