About this role:

Wells Fargo Canadian Bank Branch is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant to support key governance, regulatory, and legal entity management activities within the Chief Operating Office. This role plays a critical execution function across OSFI regulatory requirements, intercompany service governance, and project implementation. The role is for a vacancy in our Toronto office.


In this role, you will:

  • Act as a trusted execution lead, providing effective challenge, coordination, and control oversight while partnering with senior stakeholders across Business, Risk, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Business Management

  • Lead governance and execution activities supporting OSFI regulatory requirements

  • Provide governance oversight of intercompany services and funding arrangements, including review, challenge, and monitoring of related control activities

  • Execute oversight of operational risk events and incidents, including intake review, data quality assessment, root cause analysis, remediation tracking, and senior management reporting

  • Manage and maintain governance documentation, policies, and regulatory artifacts, ensuring ongoing alignment with OSFI expectations

  • Support regulatory exams, audits, and testing & validation (T&V) through effective coordination, issue management, and documentation

  • Act as execution owner or key contributor for assigned control instances, ensuring controls are well‑designed, documented, and operating effectively

  • Partner cross‑functionally with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Business stakeholders to identify risks, drive remediation, and deliver governance outcomes

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Project Implementation, Risk Management, Control Management experience, or equivalent in a highly regulated industry

  • Relevant experience across corporate and investment banking, capital markets, commercial banking, and payments / cash management platforms is a strong asset

  • Demonstrated experience working with bank regulatory frameworks, preferably within a foreign bank branch environment

  • Knowledge of intercompany services, funding structures, and legal entity governance

  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, and risk management concepts

  • Experience partnering with multiple stakeholder groups and influencing across functions

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and executive‑level communication skills

  • Prior experience supporting audits, regulatory exams, or supervisory interactions

  • Ability to lead complex initiatives with minimal supervision in a highly regulated environment

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$118,000.00 - $201,000.00
