Analytics Senior Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager as part of The Enterprise Analytics Enablement team in the Chief Data Office (CDO) which provides all Enterprise Analytical capabilities, BI tools, and best practice capabilities to Wells Fargo.  This role will lead the inventory and management functions of Enterprise Analytic Workspace (Sandbox) activities.  The candidate will be responsible for building a team that can support the intake, implementation, maintenance, and certification processes related to analytic workspaces in CDO owned platforms.  The candidate will own the rollout of processes to ensure that all Wells Fargo policies regarding the usage of Analytic Work Spaces are adhered to.  The candidate will work directly with business teams who want to utilize the capabilities of an analytic workspace and liaison with CDO technology to fulfill requests. 


In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and/or managers to enhance business management and execute on key initiatives and processes
  • Determine appropriate strategy to plan, coordinate, and execute data research projects or results oriented intelligence that support the business
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to provide strategic consultation
  • Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, and policies and compliance requirements
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of team to develop policies, approval or denial strategies, business line assignment methods, collections, and recovery strategies
  • Interpret and develop compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives for external agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry forums
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience with analytic databases in Teradata, SQL Server, and GCP


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing analytic sandboxes, data environments, or workspace provisioning at scale
  • Strong change management experience supporting enterprise data or analytics transformations
  • Proven track record of driving adoption of analytics platforms and influencing business stakeholders


Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Salary Ranges:

  • $139,000 - $217,000 - Charlotte, NC
  • $139,000 - $217,000 - Irving, TX
  • $167,000 - $260,000 - San Francisco, CA

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
