About this role:

MCRM is seeking an experienced Lead Risk Analytics Consultant with extensive experience in market and/or counterparty risk, strong technical skills, and familiarity with AI tools. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working in cross-functional teams. This role focuses on the data, systems, and controls that support market and counterparty risk management, with particular emphasis on upcoming strategic data initiatives. The position requires regular collaboration with MCRM teams, business data partners, and technology groups. Responsibilities will include partnering with upstream data providers, internal use case owners, understanding data sourcing, data lineage, capital processes, and risk management principles, and partnering with peer groups to strengthen the firm’s strategic data foundation and meet regulatory deliverables.


In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with front office teams, market and counterparty risk SMEs, capital SMEs, and technology partners to deliver data and analytical solutions.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance risk data, infrastructure, and control frameworks.

  • Analyze data to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement remediation strategies.

  • Partner with peer groups across market and counterparty risk to strengthen shared processes and improve data quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced technical skills, i.e., SQL, Java, Python.

  • Prior experience in risk management, capital market, trading, product knowledge in Derivatives and SFTs.

  • Prior experience in designing and implementing Artificial Intelligence tools.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills .

  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management.

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner.
