Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to join our CIB Banking COO Office which drives business execution and strategy supporting the bankers and executives that lead our coverage verticals of Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Energy & Power, Banks & Financial Institutions, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure, Sponsor and Regional Investment Banking, and product lines of M&A, DCM, ECM. In this role you will:

Run the day-to-day operations of the business including client prioritization, analyzing performance metrics, and working on projects with the broader Wells Fargo organization (Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Compliance).  The Senior Business Execution Consultant will also collaborate with the Vertical/Product COO, front line bankers, and Group Executive.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Supporting COO and Group Head Executives in pipeline analysis, initiative tracking, banker scorecards and client engagement activities
  • Analyzing and monitoring client and financial data across internal systems (e.g., profitability systems, loan tracking tools, CRM/Salesforce, and company hierarchy platforms)
  • Supporting planning and execution of vertical and product-level strategy sessions and recurring pipeline meetings, including development of presentation materials
  • Evaluating performance across sectors and bankers using internal CRM data and third-party sources (e.g., Dealogic) for competitive benchmarking
  • Developing executive-ready materials integrating financials, KPIs, and analytics (e.g., coverage and calling metrics, wallet share, and fee performance)
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across CRM pipelines and internal platforms
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Analytics, Marketing, and Compliance to deliver strategic projects
  • Operating effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Utilizing key skillsets including project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial business acumen, ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & other internal financial reporting tools

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, strategy or analytics; or a master's degree or higher in fields such as business, finance, or economics
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking or Financial Services Consulting
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning, performance management, and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions
  • Strong financial analysis skills (e.g., company performance, market dynamics, internal business metrics)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop executive-level materials
  • Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and organizational levels with flexibility and adaptability
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel including experience working with large datasets and analytical tools (e.g., PivotTables, BI tools; VBA/macros) 
  • Experience with AI and workflow tools that reduce manual tasks through increased automation 

Job Expectations:

  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Salary Range:

New York, NY: $87K - $140K  USD Annual

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$104,000.00 - $168,000.00
