About this role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner to support Innovation in Client Lifecycle Management for Commercial and Corporate Investment Bank, with a strong focus on AI and GenAI‑enabled capabilities. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of AI‑centric initiatives for Wholesale Business, including GenAI Bots, Agentic workflows, automation, and decision‑support capabilities aligned to strategic objectives
  • Translate complex business and operational challenges into well‑structured execution plans, leveraging AI platforms, orchestration frameworks, and modular technology components
  • Own and manage the GenAI Innovation execution portfolio within CLM, including prioritization, dependency management, risk identification, and sequencing across multiple initiatives
  • Partner with Business, Technology, Data Science, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure AI solutions are responsibly designed, governed, and delivered
  • Drive experimentation and pilot execution, capturing learnings and scaling successful AI use cases into broader adoption
  • Develop and communicate execution roadmaps, status, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders across the CIB/CB organization
  • Provide execution delivery across Agile and hybrid delivery models, ensuring adherence to enterprise delivery, risk, and change management standards
  • Stay current on GenAI regulatory expectations, model risk management, data governance, and emerging AI control frameworks, incorporating these into execution planning

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI, GenAI, or advanced analytics initiatives in a regulated financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of AI governance, model risk, data privacy, and compliance considerations
  • Proven ability to manage complex portfolios with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong executive‑level communication and influence skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and lead through ambiguity
  • Passion for innovation balanced with disciplined execution and risk awareness

Job Expectations:

$119,000-$187,000 (Charlotte only)

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
