About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Credit Product Portfolio Specialist to join our EMM Asset Based Lending team.
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with existing clients within their products or functional area, including sharing relevant information with coverage team partners, with a particular focus on emerging middle market and middle market relationships
- May be assigned a contractual territory and responsible for managing partner relationships to ensure deal opportunities are directed to the business, in alignment with agreement terms
- Independently review and analyze client portfolios, including complex scenarios, for key issues related to cash flow or liquidity, leverage, working capital, debt coverage, collateral analysis, and repayment sources, including for use in periodic reviews as well as interim underwriting memoranda
- Partner with coverage teams within the context of individual deals and client relationships, to anticipate and understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions to identify opportunities for modifications, renewals, and refinancings and grow strategic relationships
- Lead complex modifications, renewals, and refinancings, including assessing a client’s financial position and risk level, including acting as an advisor to leadership for situations for both prospective and existing clients
- Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges by synthesizing industry and economic trends, including complicated legal and regulatory issues, in addition to regular portfolio reviews to manage risk and lead problem loan resolutions, where applicable
- Strategically lead all levels across the enterprise, serve as expert advisor to leadership, and represent the company externally to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives including preparing for periodic exams by internal and external auditors
- Partner with management, functional partners and other senior leaders to provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise on evolving market needs that significantly influence the business and improve financial outcomes, including cross-functional strategies
- Lead client-related or cross-functional projects or teams that have broad-scale and long-term impact on the ABL business
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of secured or specialized lending relationship management or portfolio management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Asset Based Lending experience
- Proven ability to lead and execute initiatives involving changing long-standing processes, including creating improvements and operational efficiency evidenced through implementation in business processes
- Extensive experience managing collateral risk exposure and identifying prospect and client risks through diligence and monitoring processes
- Strong background in working with and collaborating with IRM on a higher risk profile client portfolio through challenging circumstances
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to achieve project goals.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00Benefits
