About this role:
- Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
- As Senior Software Engineer, you will be working as a Developer as well as responsible for Test automation.
- Overall strong functional knowledge, fungible core java experience (comprising OOP, IO Operations, Exception Handling , Functional Interface etc.), TDD/BDD and software validation
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Job Expectation:
- Good Development Experience in Java Tech Stack
- Working Knowledge of TDD/BDD & well versed in Software Development Practices
- Must bring a unique Solutions Engineering and development Approach. Must be proficient with Agility, CD & CI interoperability.
- Develops Test Automation Framework, Test execution and Service Virtualization components
- Continuously involved in testing for functional, regression, smoke, resiliency, and orchestrate chaos testing strategies
- Explore continuous inspection capabilities code quality to identify problems before they manifest in production
Desired Qualifications :
- 4+ years of application development, Testing and implementation experience
- Expertise in Front End, UI, SPA application development using ReactJS
- Software Development: Java SpringBoot, TestNG, Junit, JSON, SOAP UI, Kafka
- Database experience of SQL Server & NOSQL (Mongo)
- Web/Mobile Testing: Selenium, Postman (API Testing)
- CI/CD and Automation: Jenkins, Gradle, Gitlab, SonarQube, Artifactory
- Good understanding and experience in building Cloud Native enterprise applications.
- Good Experience implementing Unit Testcases using Junit, and leverage SonarQube.
- Good Experience with services testing like JMeter, SOAPUI etc
- Well-versed with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Agentic AI workflows, and LLM based test generation.
