About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Associate – Trade Desk Operations (Capital Markets)
In this role, you will:
- Support end-to-end loan sale and secondary market activities, including holding pool setup, loan population management, and sale readiness execution.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accuracy of loan tapes, investor deliverables, and trade desk outputs.
- Manage collateral documentation lifecycle, including file tracking, custodial coordination, and ensuring completeness of chain of title and beneficiary details.
- Support due diligence and investor requirements, including exception tracking, grade validations, and regulatory checks aligned to trade settlements.
- Reporting, Governance & Stakeholder Coordination with internal stakeholders, investors, custodians, and third-party reviewers to ensure timely execution and resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintain strong focus on risk, controls, and audit readiness, ensuring documentation integrity, SLA adherence, and compliance with operational standards.
- Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups
- Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners
- Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of Secondary Markets, Loan Sales, and Trade Desk Operations
- Expertise in Loan Sales Assignment processes, due diligence workflows, and overall loan sales lifecycle
- Knowledge of Collateral Management, including chain of title validation and beneficiary detail accuracy
- Experience in Investor and Custodian coordination, with ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong data validation, reconciliation, and reporting skills, with high proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills
- High level of attention to detail, ownership mindset, and risk & control awareness
- Familiarity with document management systems and audit/compliance requirements
- 6 + Months of operations, capital markets, loan servicing, or data management experience
