Senior Lead Product Manager - Pre-Hire

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Lead Product Owner to lead the Pre-Hire product portfolio within the Human Resources Transformation & Products organization. This role serves as the Product Owner for Pre-Hire, responsible for shaping, maintaining, and delivering the Pre-Hire roadmap in close partnership with Product, Technology, HR Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and vendor partners.

As a senior individual contributor, this role owns a complex, cross-functional product domain spanning onboarding, background checks, employment eligibility, relocation and mobility, vendor-supported capabilities, and integrations across platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, Cisive, and other enterprise systems. The role is accountable for influencing enterprise priorities, aligning senior stakeholders to a unified product strategy, and delivering measurable outcomes that improve operational efficiency, user experience, controls, adoption, and overall business value.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Pre-Hire product vision, roadmap, and backlog, aligning to business, regulatory, and enterprise priorities

  • Drive execution of the roadmap, including planning, releases, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication

  • Lead strategy and delivery across Pre-Hire capabilities (onboarding, background checks, eligibility, mobility) with accountability for results

  • Partner with Technology, HR, Operations, and vendors to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions

  • Lead cross-platform initiatives (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow), including workflow design, automation, and process improvements

  • Translate strategy into prioritized features and user stories with clear requirements and measurable outcomes

  • Align senior stakeholders, facilitate decisions, and manage trade-offs in a complex, matrixed environment

  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and key decisions across compliance, security, legal, and operational areas

  • Monitor vendor and platform updates, incorporating impacts into ongoing product planning and delivery

  • Establish and track product and adoption metrics, supporting change management, implementation, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional business or technology initiatives

  • Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans in Agile or hybrid environments

  • Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders, tech teams, HR, risk, legal, compliance, and vendors

  • Skilled in translating business needs into clear product requirements and prioritized delivery plans

  • Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities across teams and systems

  • Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, Pre-Hire, Onboarding, or related HR domains, including tools like Workday and ServiceNow

  • Experience working in highly regulated, complex enterprise environments with strong compliance and control requirements

  • Solid understanding of product management disciplines, including roadmap development, prioritization, and release planning

  • Ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and coordinate across product, engineering, and business teams

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills, with experience using tools like Jira and driving automation, integrations, and data/reporting improvements

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This role may require collaboration across multiple time zones to support product delivery and enterprise initiatives

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
