About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytic Consultant for Wells Fargo Business Analytics Team (Small Business Analytics Team) which is part of Consumer Banking and Lending Organization (CBL). The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable reporting solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making, and improving operational efficiency through automation. Reduce Risk and improve business outcomes

Creation of data strategy and support in creation of data products.


In this role, you will:

  • Analyze the data in Oracle, Teradata, GCP and provide deep insights, find correlation between various entities of the data using SQL, SAS, python.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of complex Dashboards, programs and initiatives which has an impact across CBL.
  • Act as key participant in large-scale Data Quality checks, Compare process and Dashboarding
  • Contribute towards Data Curation strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangible or unprecedented factors
  • Support the Product teams to deliver product features and functions to meet prioritized enterprise objectives
  • Work in a highly matrixed organization with the Product Owner, Product Analyst, subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Support the design sessions and work with subject matter experts to understand and capture functional and non-functional design and rule requirements. Document requirements through the creation and refinement of user stories with clear acceptance criteria and definition of done.
  • Assist defining, measuring and tracking product OKRs and key performance indicators and business value (revenue gains, efficiency saves, etc.)
  • Work with stakeholders from across multiple Wells Fargo lines of businesses and functions to manage the roadmap and align it to business needs.
  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

  • Experience in Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong programming and data skills: Python, PySpark, SQL; experience working with large datasets
  • Good to have knowledge on cloud based environment : GCP, Azure, AWS
  • Design, develop, and maintain business reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI/Tableau
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQL and Python to support reporting needs
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across multiple reporting sources
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports
  • Monitor report performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize for efficiency and scalability
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of reporting issues Contribute to development of self-service reporting capabilities
