About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance – Consumer Bank to lead financial oversight, performance insights, and strategic support for Consumer Checking and Savings within Deposits. This role will serve as a key finance partner to business, product, and analytics teams, driving reporting, forecasting, and decision support to enable sustainable growth, improved customer engagement, and strong risk management.
In this role, you will:
- Lead a team responsible for end-to-end financial support for checking accounts, including acquisition, attrition, engagement, and primary account growth
- Own management reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, delivering clear, actionable insights to senior leadership on business performance drivers
- Partner closely with Digital, Marketing, Branch, Product, and Risk teams to understand trends in customer acquisition, funnel performance, and attrition
- Drive the development and enhancement of reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, automated reporting, and forward-looking analytics
- Provide thought leadership on business performance, identifying opportunities to optimize growth, improve efficiency, and manage financial and operational risk
- Oversee strategic initiatives such as forecast transformation, model enhancements, and process improvements across checking and linked deposit products
- Ensure strong governance across financial reporting, forecasting methodologies, and data integrity, in partnership with Risk and Analytics teams
- Influence and advise senior leaders on strategies with moderate to high complexity and impact on business performance
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources, aligning team deliverables with broader Finance and Deposits strategic priorities
- Develop a high-performing team culture with a focus on talent development, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong experience supporting consumer banking, deposits, or checking account products
- Deep understanding of key drivers of checking performance, including acquisition, attrition, engagement, and primary account metrics
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations
- Experience building or enhancing management reporting, forecasting models, and dashboards
- Strong partnership skills with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Digital, and Risk
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiency
- High degree of analytical rigor, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
Job Expectations:
- Role may require alignment with key Wells Fargo hub locations (e.g., Charlotte, Des Moines, New York)

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$159,000.00 - $254,000.00Benefits
