In this role, candidate will:
· Lead and manage a team of UAT Test Analysts supporting Global Payments and Liquidity testing across international payments, account services, liquidity, and related upstream/downstream systems.
· Define, establish, and monitor standardized UAT methodologies, test governance, evidence standards, and release-level quality controls.
· Oversee defect triage, issue resolution, test summary reporting, test status reporting, resource utilization tracking, and release readiness communications.
· Review and approve test strategy, test plans, test scripts, manual and automated execution results, and evidence packages for GTM operations, including pre-close and post-close payment functions.
· Make day-to-day supervisory decisions, resolve project and testing issues, and manage priorities across business lines, technology partners, and operational stakeholders.
· Identify root causes for testing issues, defects, and process gaps, and develop actionable recommendations to improve testing efficiency, control adherence, and release quality.
· Coach team members through complex testing scenarios, defect analysis, stakeholder discussions, and timely resolution of release-level issues.
· Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, coaching, and performance direction to support consistent delivery and professional growth.
· Conduct performance evaluations, talent reviews, capacity planning, and development discussions for direct reports.
· Ensure effective communication and adherence to company and unit policies, procedures, and practices by team members.
· Collaborate with product owners, technology teams, operations partners, onshore stakeholders, and end users to support effective End User Testing and release decisions.
· Manage allocation of people, testing capacity, domain expertise, and release support across major and interim releases.
· Mentor and guide talent development, support hiring activities, build domain depth, and promote continuous improvement, Automation, and Gen AI adoption where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of leadership, people management, or team management experience in banking operations, testing, technology delivery, or a related environment.
· Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in International Payments, including ACH, RTGS, SEPA, SWIFT, MT, and MX payment formats.
· International Payments banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, or education.
· Demonstrated experience supporting implementations, upgrades, production validation, or operational readiness for International Payments platforms.
· Strong understanding of International Payments development, enhancements, upgrades, and regulatory or format changes across MT and MX standards.
· Sound knowledge of International Payments testing, preferably across Flexcube, OBPM, OBLM, or comparable core banking and payment platforms.
· Experience working in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid methodology with ability to elicit requirements, user stories, document processes and create test cases.
· Experience with Testing and Defect Tracking software, such as ALM or JIRA.
· Experience in attending Scrum ceremonies like Daily Scrum, Sprint planning, Sprint retrospective meetings.
· Ability to operate independently under strict timelines.
· experience across International Payments, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Business Analysis, or Operations Production Support.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating requirements, testing and implementation of medium to large scale enterprise projects with multiple dependencies.
· Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment.
· Strong negotiation and leadership abilities.
· Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change.
· Knowledge of Flexcube, OBPM, OBLM, ISO 20022, SWIFT payments, global branch deployments, and international payments testing is preferred.
· Knowledge of automation, test optimization, reporting tools, and Gen AI-enabled productivity opportunities is preferred.
· Agile or Scrum Master Certification desirable, though not mandatory
Experience managing audit-ready testing evidence, release governance, quality metrics, and executive-level status reporting is a plus
