About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Automation, GenAI and Agentic AI to design, build, and deploy end-to-end intelligent automation solutions by combining RPA, workflow platforms, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience integrating automation platforms with modern LLMs and AI agent frameworks across cloud-agnostic environments (Google, Microsoft, AWS, or equivalent). 


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Intelligent Automation and RPA tools (UiPath) equivalent).
  • Hands-on expertise in low‑code/no‑code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI dashboard design and preparation
  • End-to-end automation lifecycle experience including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Exposure to LLM platforms such as Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent.
  • Experience integrating solutions using REST APIs, databases, message queues, and enterprise systems.
  • Experience on managing UiPath ecosystem, High-definition Servers, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and resilient enterprise solutions.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • RPA and lowcode/nocode certifications (UiPath, Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform), GenAI or LLM certifications, Cloud AI certifications (Google, Microsoft, AWS), or equivalent industry recognized credentials.


Job Expectations:

  • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Intelligent Automation solutions using RPA (UiPath) and low-code/workflow platforms.
  • Build Generative AI-powered solutions using modern LLM platforms (Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent).
  • Embed GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities into automation workflows to enable Agentic Automation use cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Ensure solution quality through unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, and code reviews.
  • Manage UiPath platform, HDR Servers, manage CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions and DevOps processes.
  • Lead defect resolution, deployment planning, and post-production support.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to automation standards, best practices, and governance models.
