About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant – Deposit Customer Growth to join the Consumer Banking & Lending organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Deposit Customer Growth Journeys, this role will play a critical part in driving customer acquisition and growth by delivering the data, analytics, insights, and reporting that inform strategic business decisions.
As a key member of the Growth Product organization, you will partner closely with Product Managers supporting customer growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle, including Shopping, Application, and Onboarding journeys. You will collaborate with leaders across Product, Digital, Marketing, Finance, and Analytics to uncover opportunities, generate actionable insights, and influence strategies that accelerate deposit customer growth.

In this role, you will:
Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards
Provide strategic analytics and data-driven recommendations to support business growth, profitability, and operational performance.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance business insights.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements across assigned initiatives.
Manage and communicate project status, budget forecasts, operational reviews, and key business updates to stakeholders.
Support quarterly and annual planning efforts by delivering market insights, forecasts, and analytical guidance.
Partner with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to address business challenges, influence decisions, and achieve strategic objectives.
Lead complex projects and provide mentorship and guidance to team members, including analysts, interns, and external partners.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Strong experience extracting, joining, validating, and managing large and complex datasets.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to uncover the story behind the data.
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Oracle, or similar enterprise data environments.
Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms.
Ability to transform complex data into intuitive dashboards, visualizations, and recommendations.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and developing data-driven solutions to business challenges.
Strong understanding of both business objectives and the underlying data required to support them.
Proven ability to communicate technical findings and analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Experience working in complex data environments with limited documentation or metadata, demonstrating adaptability and success in ambiguous situations.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.

Minnesota: $100,000- $179,000 annually
