Wells Fargo Securities, LLC seeks an Investment Banking Program Associate in Charlotte, NC.

Job Role and Responsibility:

Participate in analyzing companies, developing strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research, and completing a trading simulation within Investment Banking Program. Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to- medium risk tasks and deliverables. Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Interact with internal and external customers. Telecommuting is permitted up to 1 day a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Degree required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, or related field.

Amount and type of experience required: 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving investment banking experience.

Specific skills required:

•              Experience in investment banking or capital markets;

•              Experience with Bloomberg, I-Deal, Issuenet, Bond Radar, EPFR, Salesforce and Documentum;

•              Experience with EMEA market and industry;

•              Experience with debt capital markets and the nuances of domestic and cross-border public bond issuances and market conditions;

•              Experience with coordinating across-border client meetings and preparation of materials;

•              Experience with swapping mechanics for cross-currency options and translating USD bond math into EUR, GBP, and other equivalents; and

•              Experience with Excel and Bloomberg functions.
