This role is suited to an experienced loan servicing professional who can resolve non-routine issues, perform quality checks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support the technical development of less-experienced employees.

In this role, you will:

  • Process loan bookings, advances, repayments, modifications, interest, fees, rate changes, paydowns, and maturity activities.
  • Reconcile loan and cash activity and resolve transaction discrepancies, exceptions, and unmatched items.
  • Serve as a primary servicing contact for customers, lenders, agent banks, and internal partners.
  • Monitor transaction deadlines, collateral, insurance requirements, pending items, and servicing obligations.
  • Research and resolve escalated inquiries using transaction history, documentation, system records, and financial activity.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready transaction records in accordance with policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate complex, high-risk, or out-of-authority matters to appropriate business, Risk, Control, or Legal partners.
  • Perform quality reviews and provide procedural guidance and training to less-experienced employees.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and recommend process, procedure, and control improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of participant and member-bank responsibilities across the commercial loan lifecycle.
  • Experience with Loan IQ or a comparable commercial loan servicing platform.
  • Experience interpreting credit agreements, amendments, assignment documents, notices, and payment instructions.
  • Knowledge of participant-share calculations, principal, interest, fees, receivables, and payables.
  • Experience processing complex loan transactions, including advances, paydowns, rollovers, repricing, rate changes, and maturity events.
  • Understanding of operational risk, approval requirements, documentation standards, quality controls, and audit readiness.
  • Experience providing technical guidance or process training to less-experienced employees and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field.
