About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to support the FCM product line, focused on enabling AI initiatives through strong governance, portfolio visibility, and execution discipline. This role sits within the product organization and plays a central role in connecting strategy, delivery, and risk oversight across the AI lifecycle. Working across the FCM portfolio, you will help operationalize the product line strategy by ensuring AI use cases are effectively governed and progressed from idea to delivery. You will partner closely with product managers, engineering, data science, and risk and compliance teams to maintain alignment with enterprise standards while keeping initiatives moving forward. This role is critical to scaling AI adoption in a controlled and consistent way, ensuring initiatives are not only innovative, but also compliant, well governed, and delivered with measurable business value.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee AI initiatives across the FCM portfolio, ensuring governance compliance and lifecycle adherence
- Track use cases from intake through delivery, providing clear visibility into status, risks, and dependencies
- Identify and remove blockers, navigating approvals, compliance, and cross team dependencies
- Contribute to opportunity assessment, support intake and prioritization of AI ideas based on value, feasibility, and strategy alignment and business case inputs
- Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to refine and advance use cases
- Ensure alignment with model risk management, responsible AI, and data governance requirements
- Coordinate documentation, approvals, and governance readiness
- Deliver structured updates through dashboards, leadership reporting, and governance forums
- Drive consistency through standardized processes and reusable practices
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years in product ownership, program delivery, or governance within financial services
- Strong experience with AI governance, model lifecycle oversight, and regulatory controls
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and dependencies with execution rigor
- Familiarity with model risk management and data governance frameworks
- Experience supporting AI driven use cases and refinement
- Strong grounding in Agile practices and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Clear and structured communication with senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in complex environments
Job Expectations:
- Ability travel 10% of the time
- Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations - three (3) days in office & two (2) days remote.
