  • Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business System Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex and unique initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as an advisory to senior leadership, with strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectation:

  • Serve as the formal bridge between Global Operations leadership, Technology platforms, and the Tech Ambassador network, ensuring enterprise technology initiatives are planned, communicated, escalated, and executed in partnership with Global Operations.
  • This role becomes the named escalation authority for:
    • Major technology concerns
    • Emerging risks
    • Readiness gaps
    • Adoption or stability blockers
  • Representing Global Operations in Technology governance forums as a single, accountable voice
  • Ensure business impact, readiness, and sequencing are incorporated early into initiative planning
  • Lead and mature the Global Operations Tech Ambassador network
  • Act as the primary escalation point for ambassadors on high‑risk or high‑impact issues
  • Ensure consistent coverage, messaging, and issue triage across Global Operations
  • Drive awareness across multiple levels of Global Operations (front line → executive)
  • Ensure change is planned in partnership with the business, not delivered reactively
  • Surface early signals of technology risk before they become incidents
  • Coordinate cross‑technology and cross‑business remediation paths
  • Partner with Cyber, IAM, Workplace Technology, and Networks on integrated risk responses
  • Analyze Global Operations technology data (incident trends, user experience metrics, adoption signals, performance data) to identify emerging risks before they surface as employee issues
  • Translate complex technical data into clear business risk narratives for Operations and Technology leadership
  • Elevate problems to owning Technology teams with data‑backed insights and potential solution paths, not just symptoms
  • Shift Global Operations from incident response to problem prevention
  • Use GO employee experience data to prioritize actions that matter most to productivity, stability, and satisfaction
  • Advocate for Global Operations employees by ensuring data‑driven insights influence enterprise technology decisions
  • Mature predictive analytics capabilities to anticipate technological risk during major migrations and security changes

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Technology Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience operating at the intersection of Technology and Operations, with demonstrated accountability for employee‑impacting technology change (not pure delivery execution).
  • Proven experience serving as a single point of accountability for business‑critical technology issues, escalations, and readiness across multiple teams or platforms.
  • Direct experience supporting large, distributed operations organizations (contact centers, shared services, back‑office, or similar environments with thousands of users).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology change motions including migrations (e.g., OS, VDI, IAM, security controls), readiness assessments, adoption risk, and stabilization.
  • Demonstrated success shifting organizations from reactive issue escalation to proactive risk identification and prevention.
  • Experience representing a business organization in technology governance forums, with the ability to advocate clearly for business impact, sequencing, and readiness needs.
  • Proven ability to structure escalation paths, define thresholds, and ensure issues are surfaced early with clear ownership and next actions.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational risk, technology risk, and control considerations, particularly as they relate to employee productivity and stability.
  • Ability to convene and influence cross‑technology remediation paths without formal authority.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze incident trends, user experience metrics, adoption signals, and performance data to proactively identify emerging risks.
  • Experience translating complex technical data into clear business risk narratives for senior Operations and Technology leaders.
  • Track record of elevating problems with data‑backed insights and potential solution paths, not just symptoms.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while still driving structured, repeatable decision‑making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging from front line employees through executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to build trust across Technology, Cyber, IAM, Workplace Technology, Networks, and Operations leadership.
  • Experience driving alignment across global teams with consistent messaging, cadence, and expectations.
  • Ability to operate credibly with senior leaders while remaining grounded in frontline employee experience.
  • Strong understanding of operating models and how to institutionalize successful, repeatable patterns (governance, escalation, planning, risk review).
  • Experience working in federated or matrixed enterprises where ownership is distributed across platforms and business units.
  • Ability to clearly define role boundaries, handoffs, and accountability to avoid duplication while preserving single‑point ownership.

Additional Required Qualifications

  • Experience leading or maturing a liaison, ambassador, or representative network at enterprise scale.
  • Prior involvement in workplace transformation initiatives (VDI, endpoint modernization, identity modernization, security posture uplift).
  • Experience operating within highly regulated environments, with exposure to audit, compliance, or control‑driven change constraints.
  • Experience building or evolving predictive or forward‑looking risk analytics, especially in support of large‑scale migrations or security changes.
  • Familiarity with experience monitoring or observability tools (e.g., digital experience, endpoint health, adoption telemetry).
  • Ability to link employee experience metrics to productivity, SLA stability, and operational outcomes.
  • Experience supporting 50K+ employee footprints or similarly complex, globally distributed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale impact through influence, frameworks, and data, not headcount.
  • High ownership mindset with a strong bias for preventing problems rather than reacting to them.
  • Comfortable being accountable without direct control; thrives in influence‑driven roles.
  • Strong systems thinker who can see patterns across incidents, initiatives, and feedback signals.
  • Trusted partner who balances advocacy for Operations with enterprise‑wide perspective
