About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Management Consulting Senior Manager within Global Payments & Liquidity, aligned to leading our International Business Development Officers (IBDO). This role provides strategic leadership, people management, client relationship management and international subject‑matter oversight for a team of Treasury Management Consultants supporting International Payments and Liquidity business development.
This manager will be responsible for setting direction, developing talent, and driving consistent, high‑quality delivery of international treasury solutions across payments, liquidity, foreign exchange, and international banking structures. The role balances hands‑on client strategy leadership with team management, execution governance, and partner alignment across functions and regions.
In this role, you will provide:
Leadership & Team Management
- As a player / coach you will lead and develop a team of International Business Development Officer’s who are individual contributors supporting international and cross‑border client strategies
- Drive a strong talent agenda, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and professional development
- Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Provide day‑to‑day oversight and prioritization of client engagement activity, ensuring alignment to international growth priorities
International Treasury & Client Strategy
- Serve as a senior escalation point and strategic advisor on complex international treasury, payments, liquidity, and FX discussions
- Retain direct responsibility for a portfolio of strategic international clients
- Guide teams in structuring solutions that support multi‑currency and multi‑jurisdictional operating models
- Lead or sponsor complex client engagements involving cross‑border payments, global liquidity structures, FX payment, and Global Receivables and Trade considerations
- Ensure consistent application of international treasury best practices across IBDO client coverage
Partner & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with U.S. sales teams to enable international client discussions and drive global adoption across Wells Fargo’s full suite of international solutions
- Collaborate with Canada and UK branches and other international partners on multi‑branch opportunities and client referrals
- Engage product, pricing, operations, risk, and implementation partners to deliver scalable, compliant international solutions
- Influence stakeholders across Global Payments & Liquidity, Line of Business, FX, and Global Receivables and Trade to advocate for international client needs and solution enhancements
Strategic Execution & Governance
- Provide vision and set direction for multiple high impact commercialization initiatives to achieve long-term strategic objectives that impact organization and the business across functions
- Translate IBDO objectives into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes
- Oversee proposal support, international pricing governance, and deal structuring for complex opportunities
- Ensure appropriate risk management, policy adherence, and control discipline across client engagements
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, operating efficiency, and execution consistency
Performance & Business Management
- Monitor performance metrics, pipeline activity, and client outcomes to assess team effectiveness
- Support planning related to capacity, coverage models, and international growth initiatives
- Provide management reporting and insights to senior leaders on trends, risks, and opportunities within IBDO coverage
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting international payments, cross‑border liquidity, FX, or global treasury operating models
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop consulting or sales‑adjacent teams
- Strong capability to influence senior stakeholders and partner across a matrixed organization
- Experience sponsoring or leading complex, multi‑jurisdictional client initiatives
- Working knowledge of SWIFT, global payment rails, and corporate working capital considerations
- Treasury, payments, or international banking certifications (e.g., ACT, CertICM) or MBA
- International work experience within banking or as a corporate treasury practitioner
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel 50% of the time

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
