WIM Trust Services Senior Lead Product Owner

About this role:

The Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) Chief Product Office is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant (L2 Product Owner) to drive product change for its Trust Services Business. The Trust Services business is comprised of a full array of Trust Products, Estate and Planning and Philanthropic Trust products that are distributed in partnership with Financial Advisors. This Product Owner role will be responsible to develop and refine features for initiatives in the product’s backlog and work with business, risk, technology and partner product teams to ultimately deliver the solution. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of complex, large-scale business and technology initiatives delivering long-term value.
  • Provide product and solution vision, including defining initiatives to achieve business objectives, leading solution design, prioritizing backlogs, and guiding cross-functional teams through delivery.
  • Oversee multiple product teams and application portfolios, ensuring alignment with business goals, risk requirements, and delivery timelines.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, features, and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Integrate AI tool sets into Product Owner routines and business engagement such as testing.
  • Drive implementation of workflow and technology solutions that improve efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing execution expertise and strategic guidance.
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment and decision-making through team forums and steering committees.
  • Ensure timely delivery of risk and regulatory initiatives, proactively mitigating execution and compliance risks.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Product Owner expertise in agile delivery methodologies to drive technology-enabled change using tools such as Jira, Story Weaver, Octane, Confluence, and related platforms.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and control concepts within a banking or other regulated financial services environment.
  • Proven ability to lead product and process discovery, process modeling, and continuous process improvement, supported by a strong process improvement mindset.
  • Successful track record of managing and coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously, while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting tight deadlines.
  • High level of comfort working in ambiguous or uncertain environments, with the ability to translate incomplete or complex information into clear, measurable, and actionable concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and across all organizational levels, demonstrating flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong creative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, applied to solving complex business, operational, and technology challenges.


Job Expectations:

  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$139,000.00 - $239,000.00
